Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.

I just noticed Ed Dixon's obit and although I have not seen him in 35 years, I will remember him as a man full of life and energy. I was his "apprentice"for a couple of summers in the early 1970's, home from college. We got paired up working for the school system in town. I recall being over at his house on Hazlet St. and talking to his dad 2 doors down,he had to be 90, and meeting Ed's wife Muriel. He liked skeet shooting and like most heroes, seldom spoke of the grim tasks of war. I did not know he was severely wounded. Ed was a good guy, great teacher of life and more importantly a fine human being. Please relay my condolences to Betty Wismer, who I do not know and the family. Respectfully Kenneth Klein k. klein |
Ed was an organizer, past commander and member of the Northern Chapter, 112th Field Artillery Association for many years. We've grown to know and respect him for his many accomplishments and service to his country during WWII. Our heart-felt
thanks to his longtime companion, Betty Wismer for her courageous support to Ed for many years.
