| Raymond P. Van Jaarsveld Van Jaarsveld, Raymond P. age 58 of Mt. Arlington, NJ died Friday October 10th, 2008 at the Saint Clares Hospital Dover Campus. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA he had resided many years in Wharton, NJ before moving to Mt. Arlington three years ago. Son of the late John T. and Marie L. (Fox) Van Jaarsveld, Raymond had attended the Frankford High School in Philidelphia, and was employed over twenty seven years as a cutter for the Howmet-Alcoa Industries Dover, NJ until his retirement in 2003. An avid fisherman and sports fan, Raymond was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Pre deceased by his step daughter Crystal Hope Bailey in May 1997, he is survived by his loving wife Roberta C. (Begraft), his step daughter Barbara I. Bailey of Salisbury, MD, his brother John F. Van Jaarsveld of Tampa, FL, his sisters Doreen A. Snyder of Philadelphia, and Lorraine and husband Lawrence Andico of Mt. Arlington. Raymond is also survived by his two step grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 14th, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the in the SMITH-TAYLOR-RUGGIERO Funeral Home 1 Baker Ave. Dover, NJ. Interment will follow in the Sparta Presbyterian Cemetery Sparta, NJ. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday October 13th from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. | |||||||||||
