Kuralt, William H.

Kuralt, William H., age 65 died August 14, 2007 in Dover, NJ.  Born in Vermont he moved to Hopatcong, NJ  30 years ago.  He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Catherine (Bergnon) Kuralt.

William was employed as a cook at Neil’s Restaurant in Riverdale, NJ. for over 20 years, and was a member of the Mountaintop Church in Hackettstown, NJ.

He was survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Linda A. (Search) Kuralt; 2 daughters Kathy A. Burns and her husband, Rob of Netcong, NJ; Jane A. Hiler and her husband, Adam of Florham Park, and Linda A. Kuralt of Hopatcong, NJ.  Survivors also include his sons, Billy H. and Jerry H. Kuralt, both of Hackettstown, NJ. and 11 Grandchildren. 

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday August 21 10:30 A.M. at Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home, One Baker Avenue (Rte. 46), Dover NJ.  Visitation is Monday August 20, 2007 at the Funeral Home from 3-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.  Interment is at Hackettstown Union Cemetery in Hackettstown, NJ immediately following the Funeral Service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the Kuralt Family’s name and sent to the Funeral Home.  Condolences can be posted on www.smith-taylor-ruggierofuneralhome.com by scrolling down this page.

Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.
I have known Bill for over twenty-five years from my days as a teacher in Hopatcong. Through the years several of his children were my students. I enjoyed may happy occasions with his family. Bill Kuralt was a devoted family man who dearly loved his wife,children and his grandchildren. Life was sometimes a challenge for him but he always came through smiling. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My heart and prayers are with you all.
