Stoddard, Arthur Robert, age 71, of Dover, NJ died suddenly Saturday, August 25, 2007 at home.  Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he lived in Sun Valley Park in Berkshire Valley, NJ then Landing, NJ for 20 years before moving to Dover, NJ in 1958. 

           Predeceased by his parents Robert Stoddard and Mary (Estelle) Stoddard, Arthur worked many years as a stenciler for Air Products in Morris Plains, NJ.  He later worked at Dover General Hospital in the Maintenance Department from 1980 until his retirement in 1995.  Mr. Stoddard was a 1956 graduate of Roxbury High School and attended Teabo United Methodist Church of Wharton, NJ.

            Survivors include his wife Mary A. (Weaver) Stoddard also of Dover, NJ, two sons; William R. Stoddard and his fiancé Laurie of Newton, NJ and Kenneth P. Stoddard and wife Stacy of Stanhope, NJ, one daughter; Mildred P. Flatt and her boyfriend James Barone of Boonton, NJ.  Survivors also include one brother, Russell Stoddard and his wife Beverly of Netcong, NJ, one brother-in-law Joseph and his wife Mary Weaver of Dover, NJ, one nephew Roger and his wife Kathy Clark of Roxbury, NJ, as well as 2 grand nieces.  Robert is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
