Victor F. Arias age 79 of Roxbury, NJ died Saturday, August 8th, 2009 at his residence. Born October 19th, 1929 in New York City, he has resided in Roxbury for the past 20 years.

 

Victor worked for the US Postal Service in Dover, NJ for many years. A Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, Victor was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Netcong, NJ, and New York. Victor was also a member of the Postal Workers Union.

 

Victor was predeceased by his mother and father, Charles Arias and Soledad Munoz, and his grandson Joseph J. Sutton . He is survived by his wife Daris C. Arias of Roxbury, NJ, his son Victor Jr. and his wife Donna Arias, as well as his his three daughters Victoria G. Sutton of Roxbury, Celeste and husband Jose Alvaro Aravjo of Wharton, NJ, and Debra Arias, also of Roxbury. He also survived by his sisters Maria Conception Rastiello of Orlando, FL, Stella Ferreira of Pine bush, NY, and Beatrice Sarate of Kenvil, NJ. Victor is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

 

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday August 13th, 2009 at the Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Dover NJ at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt.46) Dover, NJ. Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
