Smith - Taylor - Ruggiero Funeral Home

McConley, Ingrid C. age 53 of the Lake Forrest Section of Lake Hopatcong died Sunday May 6, 2007 following a long illness. Born in Yonkers, NY, she had lived briefly in Norway, before returning to Rockaway Twp., NJ. Later Ingrid relocated to Lake Hopatcong where she has lived for many years.

             A graduate of Morris Hills High School class of 1971, Ingrid worked many years in the Jefferson Pathmark Pharmacy. A loving and devoted wife and mother, Ingrid enjoyed making her home a beautiful place to entertain her family and many friends. She was a member of the Lake Forrest Yacht Club and loved Lake Hopatcong for all of its activities as well as its way of life. She always had an eye for fashion and the beauty in nature. A long time member of the Hurdtown United Methodist Church, Jefferson Twp., NJ, Ingrid was pre deceased by her mother Berit (Hansen) Nilsen in 1995. 

            Survivors include her husband William K. McConley of Lake Hopatcong, her sons Karl and Chris Cilurso both of Lake Hopatcong, her daughter Billie Christine McConley at home, her father Erik Nilsen of Ledgewood. Also her brothers Eric Nilsen of Newton, Robert and John Nilsen both of Rockaway as well as her sister Irene Livas of Hopatcong.

             Funeral services will be held Thursday May 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Hurdtown United Methodist Church, Rt. 15 S. Jefferson, Twp. Interment will follow in the Locust Hill Cemetery Dover. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 9th from 6-9 PM in the Smith-Taylor Ruggiero Funeral Home, #1 Baker Avenue (Route 46), Dover, NJ.
