Deborah A. Powell

Powell, Deborah A. age 59 of Dover, NJ died Sunday January 10, 2010 at the Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare’s Hospital Dover Campus. Born in Weehawken, NJ, she lived all her life in Dover, NJ. Daughter of the late Edward and Mary Pat (Guilding) Guida, she worked as a caterer and Food Service employee at the Lynwood Nursing Home Florham Park, NJ. She was a graduate of the Culinary Arts School Denville, NJ; Ms. Powell was an avid Gardener and cook, who enjoyed volunteering at the Community Garden in Morristown, NJ. Survivors include her son Jeremy F. Powell of Vineland, NJ, her two brothers David C. and wife Deborah Guida of Morris Plains, NJ and Edward A. and wife Susan Guida of Atlanta GA., her sister Karen P. Guida of Boston, MA.    Memorial Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 12, 2010 at 8:30 PM in the SMITH-TAYLOR-RUGGIERO Funeral Home 1 Baker Ave. Dover, NJ. Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7-8:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice  400 West Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ 07801.

Deborah, I know your looking down at us today, the people who knew and loved you are comforted in knowing that you are are at peace, no more pain. We all remember the good times. Your life was too short and we will all miss you very much.
