Corinne I. Ufer, age 76 of Dover, NJ, died Saturday May 5th, 2007 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover Campus, Dover, NJ.  She was born in Jersey City, NJ, where she lived most of her life.  Mrs. Ufer resided in Dover, NJ. for the past 13 years.  Daughter of the late David A. Baker and Cora V. (Rutherford) Baker she was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Jersey City Women’s Club and a Daughter of the American Revolution.

                Corinne was predeceased by a son David G. Tonne in 1991 and a brother, David Baker III in 1928.  Survivors are her husband, William, son Robert L. Tonne (Brother Thomas) of Orleans, Massachusetts, daughter Edith (Edie) Walsh and spouse Dave formerly of Rockaway Twsp., NJ and now residing in Florida.  She is also survived by a sister Edith A. Onnembo and spouse Achille of Whiting, NJ, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

                Funeral service will be under the direction and at Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 1 Baker Ave., (Route. 46) Dover, NJ, Friday, May 11, 2007 at 10:30 a.m.  Visitation will be held Thursday, May 10, 2007 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m at the funeral home in Dover.
