Benko, Roman

Roman Benko, age 53 of East Stroudsburg, PA died at home peacefully on Monday, June 14th, 2010.  Born in Dover, NJ he lived in Budd Lake, NJ moving to East Stroudsburg a year ago.     Mr. Benko was a Painter and was self employed for many years.  He was pre-deceased by his Parents, Iwan Benko and Genowefa (Forkasiwicz) Benko, and his brother Taras Benko.  Survivors include his brothers, John Benko and his wife Barbara of Chapel Hill, FL, and Robert Morgan and his wife Kristi of Dover, NJ. He is also survived by his sisters, Christine Benko of Budd Lake, NJ, Emily Smith of Wantage, NJ, Lilia Benko of Dover, NJ and Theresa Giulias and her husband Peter of Succasunna, NJ.  He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.   Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25th, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home at One Baker Ave., (Rt. 46) Dover NJ 07801. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Hi Rope I know you are watching over all of us and I'm grateful for that but I'd rather have you here. We had a lot a good times together with family and friends. I remember coming to CA a couple of times with you and Lisa. We were a good shuffleboard team(lol). I know your inner demons are gone now and you can ask GOD all the questions you want!
