Smith - Taylor - Ruggiero Funeral Home

Caruso, Margaret age 64 of the Lake Tranquility section of Green Twp., died Sunday May 27th at the Compassionate Care Hospice Dover, NJ following a long illness. Born in Lower Berkshire Valley, Margaret grew up in Verona and was graduated from the Verona High School class of 1961. Moving to Lake Hopatcong in 1962, she resided there for many years before relocating to Green Twp., in 1979.

             A loving and devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Caruso had worked for many years as a School Secretary for the Hopatcong Bd. of Education until her retirement. Margaret enjoyed her many years at Lake Hopatcong, as well as boating and snowmobiling. She also enjoyed sewing and reading. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

             Pre deceased by her father George Will, she is survived by her husband of 45 years Angelo Caruso. Also survived by her son Vincent of Independence, NJ and her daughter Dianna and spouse David Thatcher of Milford PA. Also surviving are her mother Marie Will of New Brunswick, her sister Rosemary Garber of Staten Isl., NY and her grandchildren Davis Jr., and Sarah Thatcher. 

            Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 30th 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Smith-Taylor Ruggiero Funeral Home, #1 Baker Avenue (Route 46), Dover, NJ.   Entombment will follow in the Locust Hill Cemetery Mausoleum Dover. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 29th at the Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Susan G.
