Smith - Taylor - Ruggiero Funeral Home

Sliker, George W. age 73 of Dover, NJ died Wednesday June 27th, 2007 at the Saint Clare’s Hospital Dover Campus. Born in Newton, NJ he had resided there and in Netcong for many years moving to Dover in 1970.

             Son of the late Merritt and Jennie (Kent) Sliker, George was an Employee at the Green Hammer in Dover, NJ for many years until his retirement in 1996. Mr. Sliker also had served in the National Guard Newton Armory in the 1950’s and was a member of the Dover Moose Lodge.             Pre deceased by his brothers Merritt, Gerald and Arthur, as well as his sisters Jennett and Geraldine, George is survived by: His wife Cecelia (Stephens) Sliker of Dover, his sons Michael W. of Dover and Raymond W. of Bradenton, FL. Also his daughter Cecelia A. Sliker of Bradenton, FL, his sister Virginia and spouse Edward Chrip of Newton, as well as his four grandchildren.
