Richard Fowler

Fowler, Richard age 69 formerly of Bayonne, NJ died Sunday October 25th, 2009 at the St. Joseph Hospital Paterson, NJ following a long illness. Born in Jersey City, NJ he resided most of his life on Bayonne.

Son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Fendt) Fowler, Richard retired after a long and dedicated career as a Fireman with the Bayonne Fire Department. A former member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Bayonne, Mr. Fowler is survived by his former wife Teresa Fowler of Bayonne. Also survived by his sons Stephen and Richard II Fowler, and his daughter Teresa Fowler as well as his three grandchildren all of Bayonne.  Richard is also survived by his brother Robert of California and his sister Matilda DeSena of Bayonne.               

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday October 30th, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery #1500 Stuyvesant Ave. Union, NJ 07083. Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-Taylor Ruggiero Funeral Home, One Baker Avenue, Dover NJ.
